The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Career-related Programme (CP ) is a framework of international education that incorporates the values of the IB into a unique programme addressing the needs of students engaged in career-related education. The CP was specifically developed for students who wish to engage in career-related learning while gaining transferable and lifelong skills in applied knowledge, critical thinking, communication, and cross-cultural engagement. 

The IB CP Curriculum is a two-year commitment as CP students undertake a minimum of two IB Diploma Programme (DP) courses, a core (PPS) consisting of four components and a career-related study. In order to earn their CP Certificate, candidates 

The IB Career-related Programme Certificate is available to candidates who meet the requirements below? 
  • Participate in career-related pathway & complete course sequence over their junior and senior years.
  • Enroll and complete at least two IBDP courses in any of the subject groups 
  • Take IB examinations in his/her IBDP subject areas (each student is responsible for paying the cost of exams)
  • Earn a score of 3 or higher in at least two DP subject exams
  • Successfully complete all four CP Core components
    • Personal and professional skills class (junior and senior year)
    • Service learning hours & portfolio (50 hours minimum)
    • Language development & portfolio (50 hours minimum)
    • Reflective project
